Audience development & Engagement strategy 📣
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to expand your reach, I can bring people to your door and make sure they stay for dinner. I develop strategies that prioritize fostering conversations and calls to action that will be both valuable to your audience and create a positive impact on your business goals.
While working at DoSomething.org, I grew their SMS list from 120,000 to 3.6 million subscribers, and their email newsletter to over 1 million readers. On the Hillary for America campaign, I doubled the size of their SMS list to 680,000 in one month.
I will do more than bring people into your network. I will help you build relationships with your audience so they keep coming back, over and over again.
Creative strategy & Content development 🎨
With over 7 years of experience building brand messaging, I’ve brought to life over 36 national cause campaigns that have mobilized hundreds of thousands of people to action. I’ve mastered the art of engagement strategy through developing strong content and a bold, branded voice - and I will help you create and polish yours.
While working at Dosomething.org, I overhauled their weekly email newsletter, The Breakdown, to revamp the focus and bring more relevant content to (over 1 million) young people’s inboxes. The new content strategy increased open rates and time-on-site by 50%.
Public speaking & Custom workshops 👨🏻🏫
Need thought leadership on engaging audiences using strategic messaging tactics? I’d love to hear more about how I can help your team by creating a customized workshop, appearing on a panel, or speaking at your next conference,
I’ve participated in small, interactive panels, delivered keynote speeches at conferences of over 1,000 people, and appeared onscreen to deliver live updates on current events (like this interview I prepared with 20 minutes notice). I cover topics such as messaging best practices for SMS and email, building audiences, and youth engagement.
